Dr Christine Pan Chiropractor Acupuncture Webster Technique Oak Park River Forest IL

Dr. Christine Pan has been practicing as a chiropractic physician  and certified acupuncturist in the Chicago area since 2008.  She is native to upstate New York, where she grew up and went to college.  Before finding her way to the Midwest, she lived in Australia, San Francisco, and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.  Dr. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, where she majored in psychology with a pre-medicine focus.  She then entered graduate school at the University of Maryland at College Park where she earned a Master of Education degree in School Counseling.  For five years, Dr. Christine served as a middle school guidance counselor in Fairfax County, VA, before she decided to pursue a career as a chiropractic physician.  She had the desire to further her positive impact on lives by facilitating the healing of the body along with the mind.  Dr. Christine moved to Illinois to attend National University of Health Sciences where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  Upon graduation, she decided to stay in the area and is proud to currently call Oak Park home for her and her family.

 

Dr. Pan uses a comprehensive whole person approach that combines the works of Eastern and Western medicine integrated with several other healing methods to treat the underlying cause of symptoms.  While she attended chiropractic school, she completed coursework to earn her Certifications in Acupuncture and in Clinical Nutrition.  She holds a National Board Certification in acupuncture and has had the opportunity to travel to Beijing, China to further her knowledge in acupuncture.  Dr. Pan is Certified in Webster Technique, is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society and enjoys regularly attending seminars focusing on nutrition, functional medicine, female health, perinatal care, and rehabilitation.  She strives to diversify her learning opportunities to be as versatile as possible as a practitioner in order to address the unique needs of each individual.  Her main goal is to help others attain more relief and a better quality of life in longevity through a collaborative therapy approach.
