Jaclyn O'Neill DC
Dr. Jaclyn O’Neill received her education from National University of Health Sciences, where
she graduated with honors. Her mother, a chiropractor in northern Michigan, opened her eyes to the bodies ability and desire to heal naturally. Along with the love for positively impacting and connecting with others, her desire to help the body overcome pain, disease, and dysfunction is what drove her decision to pursue chiropractic.
Her passions include Functional Medicine, McKenzie method of assessment, and Activator
method, all three of which she continues to improve upon via seminars and continuing
education. Functional medicine is the practice of determining the root cause of disease and
discomfort in the body, working toward correcting that issue, rather than treating symptoms.
McKenzie assessment helps determine the type of treatment and exercise(s) needed,
meanwhile providing patient independence and an active role in recovery time. Finally, Activator method is the use of a small device that delivers a very specific, high velocity force. It is a great option for anyone hesitant about a manual manipulation, those with low bone density, extremity complaints and/or Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) issues.
Dr. O’Neill enjoys working with a variety of patient populations. Some of her favorites include those dealing with gastrointestinal complaints, autoimmune disease, seniors and the female population as a whole. She believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” treatment, we all are individuals with unique differences, and this is how she approaches patient care.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her adorable pups, staying active via exercise and outdoor activities, and reading.
